The Call endorses Lindbergh Schools’ Proposition R.

 Following the success of the 2019 Prop R, which enhanced safety and infrastructure across the district, the 2024 iteration aims to extend these improvements without increasing taxes for the community. This commitment to fiscal responsibility and continuous enhancement of the learning environment is commendable.

The achievements of the 2019 Prop R are a testament to Lindbergh Schools’ efficient use of resources and dedication to student safety. With the completion of secure entry vestibules at various schools, and a brand new high school, the district has significantly increased student and staff safety.

The 2024 Prop R seeks $150 million for a no-tax-rate-increase bond issue to further develop educational equity, upgrade school facilities and enhance districtwide safety. These initiatives promise to offer students new educational opportunities.
