State. Rep Jim Murphy, R-Oakville, is hosting a forum on Thursday about artificial intelligence and media literacy, in cooperation with the Lindbergh and Mehlville school districts.
The forum will be held Thursday, Jan. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Nottelmann Auditorium at Mehlville High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road.
A six-member panel will discuss social media, artificial intelligence and how media affects thinking and behavior.
Panelists are Carol Daniel, host and senior producer with Nine PBS; author Julie Smith; Deputy Director of the National Association for Media Literacy Education and Arizona State University faculty associate Donnell Probst; Jeff Haug, Mehlville School District superintendent; Nick Niehaus, founder of Everyday AI; and Lindbergh Schools Blended Learning Coordinator Colin Davitt.
