President Roy Wunsch of the South County Kiwanis Club presented certificates of achievement and a $1,000 check to the recipients of its scholarships this year, Madison Hassler from Oakville High School and Harrison Hong from Mehlville High School. Both students were selected for their academic achievements as well as for the service that they render to their respective schools and the community. Madison plans to attend college and go on to medical school or biomedical engineering. Harrison is a National Merit finalist and plans to go to Arizona State or Mizzou to study computer science.
