Friday, March 29

  • Create artwork to celebrate the upcoming solar eclipse at “Solar Eclipse Art” hosted by the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 2 – 3 p.m. Open to ages 8 and up. Walk-ins only while supplies last.

Monday, April 1

Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Road, is hosting its quarterly book club, White Haven Reader’s Guild, from 2 – 3 p.m. This month’s book is “Saving Yellowstone: Exploration and Preservation in Reconstruction America” by Megan Kate Nelson.   • Come watch a movie based on a book at “Page to Film Club” hosted by the Grant’s View Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 9700 Musick Road, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This month’s movie is Hugo (2011), which has an MPAA rating of PG and a runtime of 126 minutes. Reading the book ahead of time is encouraged and discussion during the film is welcome. Light refreshments will be provided. Open to all ages. Registration is required.
