Grant, set the stage for America’s engagement with Japan. Kidder earned a PhD in East Asian Studies. He served as Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo from 1995 to 2000, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Tokyo from 2006 to 2014 and is currently Managing Director of Fukuda Editorial Services, Tokyo and Pittsburgh.
