- The Meramec Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library, 1501 San Simeon Way, is hosting “Readin’ and Rockin’” at 2 p.m. “This humorous, highly interactive performance will inspire little rockers to become big readers.”
- There will be a Holy Hour for priestly and religious vocations at the Monastery of St. Clare, 200 Marycrest Drive, from 7 to 8 p.m. The monastery is located off the 6000 block of Telegraph Road and is south of the Bethesda nursing facility. The entrance is next to the Goddard Daycare Center.

Learn about how depicting Filipino culture as “uncivilized” was a method used to gain support for American imperialism.”
