Jessica Marie Smith, daughter of Doyle and Lynn Smith of St. Clair and Cynthia Smith and Mark Michael of St. Louis, and Scott Andrew Mayer, son of Ronny and Kathy Mayer of Chesterfield, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Smith is a graduate of Lindbergh High School and St. Louis University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood special education and a master of arts degree in education from Lindenwood University. She currently is working for the Special School District.
Her fiancé, Mayer, is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and St. Louis University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He currently is working on his master’s degree in human resources at Webster University. He is employed at Amdocs.
The couple plan an August wedding.
