Kelly Elizabeth Dowling, daughter of Steve and Terri Dowling of St. Louis, and Todd Kenneth Hammer, son of Terry and Rita Hammer of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Dowling is a 1999 graduate of Ursuline Academy. She is pursuing an elementary education degree at Fontbonne University and is employed at the Krupinski Academy of Dance.
Her fiancé, Hammer, is a 1996 graduate of St. Louis University High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Rhodes College and a bachelor of science degree in finance from St. Louis University. He is employed at Scottrade as a senior product specialist.
The couple plan a May 19 wedding at the Shrine of St. Joseph.
