Colleen Kenny, daughter of Joe and Terry Kenny of Oakville, and Mitchell Roberts, son of Mike and Carol Roberts of Mexico and Nancy Krider of Roach, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Kenny, of Lee’s Summit, earned a bachelor’s degree in biological engineering and a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Her fiancé, Roberts, earned a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and wildlife from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is employed by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources of Lee’s Summit as a unit chief.
The couple plan a Sept. 10 wedding at Seven Springs Winery in Linn Creek.
