A bus transporting six Mehlville High Senior School students north toward the city collided with a semitrailer truck the afternoon of Dec. 15 at the intersection of Union and Sweetgum roads.
Deputy Superintendent Jane Reed told Board of Education members that evening that all six students, who participate in the Voluntary Interdistrict Choice Corp. program, were sent to area hospitals.
They all were released within one hour of seeking treatment and no injuries were reported.
Reed said the semitrailer truck rear-ended another vehicle and then bounced off the bus carrying the students.
