Among the children meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Mehlville Fire Protection District’s annual Santa Saturday event Dec. 7 were, from left, Katelyn and Madison Bond, the daughters of Chief Financial Officer Brian Bond. The fire district also held a holiday food drive in connection with the event, collecting more than 2,200 cans of food for Feed My People. New this year, children could write out their letters to Santa and send them in a mailbox to the North Pole.
