To the editor:

What a superb letter by Cliff Ringis in the Nov. 14 edition of The Call. It concerned the 20-year lease given to a rugby team in Sunset Hills Bander Park. Unbelievably, voters had no say in giving out the lease.

The U.S. is supposed to be the foremost democracy in the world. I am really surprised by Sunset Hills local government’s covert action because they have such a good reputation.

Here’s hoping Mr. Ringis’ letter spurs Sunset Hills voters into action and the issue is put on the ballot.
