Royal and Shirley Wirth celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 12 at Genesis Banquet Center.
Mr. Wirth and the former Shirley Sander were married June 10, 1956, at Eden United Church of Christ in Affton with the Rev. Elmer H. Dickbernd officiating.
Mr. Wirth is retired from the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., where he worked for 17 years.
Mrs. Wirth is retired from Kirlin’s Hallmark in Oakville.
Mr. and Mrs. Wirth have two children, Kathy Schnoes of St. Louis and Robert Wirth of St. Louis.
They have four grandchildren.
