To the editor:

As a Ward 2 resident, I am proud to support the reelection of current alderman and Board President Christine Lieber for Ward 2 alderman of Sunset Hills.

A lifelong, active member of Sunset Hills, Lieber is a Lindbergh graduate who founded her business in Ward 2. That entrepreneurial spirit is evident in her other efforts – tenaciously supporting Guns N’ Hoses and Backstoppers, as well as other local organizations like Rotary Club and our chamber of commerce.

Being the only candidate with elected experience, Lieber’s record is reflective of her constituents’ priorities and concerns – better financial accounting, transparency, inclusion, preserving lot sizes, and attracting new businesses.

Most importantly, and perhaps most impressive, is the time Alderman Lieber devotes to our community, our people, and our causes. Due to this involvement and her no-nonsense approach, she has quickly become a well-respected leader on the board. Knowing Christine, she will knock on your door, presenting her plans for our city while listening to your opinions and concerns.

I hope you will then see what I know, and join me in voting on April 4th for Alderman Christine Lieber.
