To the editor:
I read Mr. Carl Hendrickson’s recent article in the Call, in which he encouraged people to write a journal or a book about their lives for their children and grandchildren.
He spoke of immortality. First of all, I think that is a good idea.
Secondly, I would like to thank Mr. Hendrickson for his military service. He lived an interesting life and I hope he still is.
Thirdly, as a Catholic — and a Christian — I believe that all of our souls are immortal. So we will indeed live forever. Where we will live forever is up to us. May God bless you, Mr. Hendrickson.
