Pundit wonders if Green Park Road project qualifies as a ‘clunker’

To the editor:

The Call reports the city of Green Park has already spent $760,000 on the “improvements” to Green Park Road.

Wow, that must mean the “improvements” are moving right along.

However, not a shovelful of dirt has been turned thus far. Believe me folks, this thing is going to be expensive.

But wait. The project was funded by a federal grant way back in 2003. Perhaps that qualifies the city to save a lot of money by declaring the project a “clunker.”
