The St. Louis County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposal for a vehicle service/window tinting center in an existing business park on Meramec Bottom Road Sept. 12.

The proposal calls for amended C-8 zoning to allow a vehicle service/window tinting business to reoccupy one of the five existing structures in the business park. The petitioner is using a previously approved site development plan from 2006 for the existing business park, 4401-4409 Meramec Bottom Road.  The 2006 site plan included with the petition shows one of the five structures, a one-story metal frame building, as “proposed” but it has since been constructed after the site plan’s initial approval.

The first phase of the business park was built between 1997 and 2000 and included relocating Meramec Bottom Road at that time, which is labeled as “relocated Meramec Bottom Road” on the 2006 site plan.
