The St. Louis County Planning Commission is holding a public hearing Monday on two proposals in Affton.

The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday, June 12 at the county government center in Clayton, 41. S. Central Ave.

Both area proposals are in the 5th District of Councilwoman Lisa Clancy. The first petition is in the Bayless School District while the other petition is in the Affton School District.

The first hearing is a zoning change request from Bani Properties, LLC to change C-2 commercial zoning to R-6 residential zoning at the northwest corner of Gravois Road and Philo Avenue.

The second hearing is another zoning change request, this time from the St. Louis County Planning Commission, to change the zoning on the east side of New Hampshire Avenue, north of Weber Road, from M-3 planned industrial to R-5 residential.

The third hearing on the June 12 agenda is a conditional use permit request from the Hazelwood School District in the 4th County Council District to construct a lighted athletic field on New Halls Ferry Road.
