A pedestrian crossing Watson Road in Sunset Hills was killed Wednesday when she was hit by a car.
Officers from the Sunset Hills Police Department responded at 6:07 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, to the 10500 block of Watson Road for a motor vehicle accident with a pedestrian stuck.
The pedestrian, a white female in her late 50s, was walking north across westbound Watson Road and was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound. She was transported to a local hospital where she later died of her injuries. Her identity is being withheld until next of kin can be notified.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
