Mary Louise Snider, 86, died July 8 at Mercy South Hospital. She was born June 12, 1936, in St. Louis to Michael and Marie (nee Duffin) Anvender of Lemay. She was preceded in death by her sister Joan Abarcar (nee Anvender), sister-in-law Jane Anvender (nee Fischer) and great-granddaughter Lily Jane Snider. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Snider; her children Mark (Mary) Snider, Charlet Snider, Cheryl (Phil) Carlson, Linda (Joseph) Schillinger and Kaye Maxey; and her brother John Anvender and sister Carol (Dale) Garcia. She was a beloved grandmother to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her greatest happiness was time spent with her family. She and her husband were members of the Missouri Botanical Gardens and she was an officer of the local chapter of the National Lily Society.
