To the editor:
The annual Oakville Senior High School Band Barbecue was held the weekend of Aug. 5 and Aug. 6.
This is an important fundraiser for our band and we are always appreciative of our community’s support. Unfortunately, the storms that came through Friday afternoon forced us to shut down for the day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We were up and running all day on Saturday and had a successful barbecue. Hope to see you next August.
