Students from the senior class of Oakville Senior High School will participate in a Baccalaureate Service at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, 4900 Ringer Road.

This all-faith celebration provides an opportunity for the students to reflect upon their school careers, thank God for their accomplishments and celebrate with their family and friends during this special time in their lives. All participating seniors will wear their cap and gowns. A reception will follow the ceremony in the church hall.

The theme for the candlelight service is “Unchained Faith” and will include instrumental and vocal selections performed by Oakville Senior High School seniors.

Seniors also will present a drama, scripture readings and personal reflections.

Local churches and merchants provide support and donations for the service.

The Baccalaureate Service is open to all Oakville Senior High School graduating seniors, their families and the public.
