A “nonpartisan political action organization” opposed to St. Louis County’s plans to implement trash districts in unincorporated areas is seeking financial contributions.

Make Your Opinion Count, LLC, is comprised of county residents seeking to “slow or stop the implementation of the county’s trash plans and put pressure on (County) Council members to revisit their decisions,” according to a news release issued by the group’s president, Tony Niskanen.

The release states the group has set a goal of raising $10,000 for surveys, mailings and volunteer activities.

Residents interested in donating to the group can send a check or money order to Make Your Opinion Count, LLC, P.O. Box 20161, St. Louis, Mo. 63123.
