Morning coffee with a splash of learning

While most people need their coffee for a morning energy boost, students at Long Elementary and Dressel Elementary are using coffee to learn essential life skills. Long Elementary has the ‘Kindness Cart’ and Dressel Elementary has the ‘Dresso Espresso Coffee Cart’; both serving coffee, tea and snacks for teachers and staff. The carts are supervised by each school’s speech and language pathologists. Students give out coffee while learning communication skills, expressive language and math and social skills.
