Erin Colleen McClanahan, daughter of Maureen and Gary McClanahan of Sappington, and Justin Jay Kauffman, son of Deborah and Ronald Kauffman of Prosper, Texas, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

McClanahan, of McKinney, Texas, graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in political science and from Stephen F. Austin University of Nacogdoches, Texas, with a master’s degree in public administration. She is employed by Prosper High School of Prosper, Texas, as a teacher, varsity volleyball coach and assistant athletics director.

Her fiance, Kauffman, graduated from the University of North Texas of Denton, Texas, with a bachelor of science degree. He is employed by Lucas Lovejoy High School of Lucas, Texas, as a geometry teacher and assistant basketball coach.

The couple plan a July 11 wedding at St. Ann Catholic Church in Coppell, Texas.

After a honeymoon trip to Spain and Greece, the couple plan to reside in McKinney, Texas.
