Courtney Mayton of Oakville has been named to the fall 2003 President’s List at Truman State University.
Truman’s President’s List includes about 740 students. To qualify for the President’s List, an undergraduate student must attain a semester 4.0 grade-point average and complete 12 semester hours of credit.
Mayton is a junior psychology major. At Truman, she is involved with Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
The daughter of Larry and Brenda Mayton, she is a 2001 graduate of Oakville Senior High School.
Mayton also was named to the President’s List for the spring 2002 semester and the Vice President’s List for the fall 2001 and spring 2003 semesters.
She plans to earn a master’s degree in education and teach at the elementary level.
