Lindbergh graduate receives teaching award

Tony Gragnani, a 2002 Lindbergh High School graduate, received the Outstanding Beginning Teacher Award from the Columbia Public Schools.

Gragnani is a first-year teacher at Oak-land Junior High School in Columbia.

This award is presented to only one new teacher for the entire district. Gragnani will receive a $1,200 cash award, an engraved silver tray and recognition at the annual Columbia Fund for Academic Excellence banquet today — April 17.
