To the editor:
I was slightly disappointed when Jane Kolb was not elected to the Mehlville Fire Protection District Board of Directors.
You see, I had a wonderful town in Denmark picked out which we were going to move to if Mrs. Kolb won. This town in Denmark has a wonderful elected official whose name is Haron Ailmer.
Haron Ailmer has saved his Denmark taxpayers megabucks, built new firehouses and purchased ambulances and fire trucks with cash on hand.
Wonderful guy, but who uses cash anymore? Can’t we just fleece the taxpayers and throw money at the problem?
Sorry, Mr. Ailmer, we’re not moving. It looks like we are going to be here at least another six years.
