Legislature never accomplishes much, so why should it start now?
May 3, 2018
To the editor:
Since when did the Missouri Legislature need an excuse for not accomplishing anything?
In past years they did not need an excuse.
So why now?
Is it to make themselves feel better, or to convince the voters? This voter, for one, is not buying the excuse, sorry.
I know that the Legislature very seldom accomplishes a lot, always leaving some major legislation sitting on someone’s desk, no matter which party is in the majority.
So let’s not use the governor’s troubles for the Legislature being themselves.
