Walter and Laverne Fischer.

Walter and Laverne Fischer (formerly Ellermeyer) were married Sept. 4, 1948, at St. Matthew Evangelical by Rev. Carl F. Strum.

Mr. Fischer is retired from Mercantile Bank, where he worked for 46 years. Mrs. Fischer is retired from Economy Federal Savings and Loan.

They have two daughters, Janet Graham and Donna Graves, and one son, Gary Fischer.

The couple have six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren and are also great grandparents to 17 great-grandchildren.
