For the 39th year, Laumeier Sculpture Park hosted its annual Art Fair from May 8-10. This year, the fair was in conjunction with another milestone date: the park’s 50th anniversary.
The three-day art fair featured live music, food trucks and over 160 artist tents. The artists sold everything from ceramics and textiles to paintings and jewelry. Judges awarded over $8,000 in cash prizes to 21 selected artists.
For half a century, Laumeier Sculpture Park at 12580 Rott Road has been a home to both nature and art for South County. Currently, the park has an exhibition called “Begin Again: 50 Years and Counting” to celebrate the milestone.
