Ameren Missouri crews are repairing damage to a utility pole near the intersection of Forder and Ringer roads in Oakville after a woman struck it with her pickup truck early Tuesday morning.
About 2:20 a.m., the pickup truck driven by the 21-year-old woman left the road and struck a utility pole at eastbound Forder Road and Tiffany Trail Court, police said.
The woman’s 2005 GMC pickup was the only vehicle involved in the crash, police said. The driver was not injured.
Police believe a contributing factor was “inattention,” according to the accident report. No tickets were issued at the scene.
Ameren had not yet responded to a request for comment at the time this article was published. Crews have been on the scene since early Tuesday morning, and at times both lanes on Forder have been closed for the repairs.
