Noel F. Knobloch recently was named chief financial officer of the Mehlville School District.

The Board of Education voted unanimously last week to name Knobloch to the post with a salary of $115,000.

Knobloch formerly led Amerinet’s financial operations, where he oversaw accounting, collections, compliance, payroll and reporting.

As Mehlville CFO, Knobloch will be responsible for the overall financial operations of the district, including development and maintenance of annual budget and long-range financial projections.

Before his tenure with Amerinet, Knobloch served as controller of the HBE Corp., a major hospital design and construction company. He also spent 10 years in public accounting with Price Waterhouse before moving to a position in the private sector.

Knobloch is a graduate of the University of Illinois and a certified public accountant.

He maintains professional memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
