Julie Karl, daughter of Mike and Maggie Karl of Oakville, and Tom Krus, son of Ron Krus of South City and Judy Krus of Oakville, announce their en-gagement and forthcoming marriage.
Karl of Oakville, earned a bachelor of science degree in communications and a master of arts degree in education: special education, and is employed by the Special School District as a teaching assistant for the Clayton School District. She also works at Illusions Color Spa in Oakville as a customer service representative.
Her fiance, Krus of Oakville, earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration and is employed by the St. Clair Corp. of St. Louis as a sales representative.
The couple plan a July 30 wedding at St. Michael the Archangel in Shrewsbury.
