Julia Lynne McAllister, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve McAllister of Oak-ville, and Bobby Ray Hurd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hurd of Altus, Okla., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
McAllister is a graduate of Webster University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a preschool teacher at Prairie View in Marion, Kan.
Her fiance, Hurd, is attending Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kan., where he is working toward a bachelor’s degree in secondary English education.
The couple plan a June 25 wedding at Crestwood Christian Church in St. Louis and will reside in Hillsboro, Kan.
