Rain didn’t stop South County from enjoying the 20th year of the JB Blast at Jefferson Barracks Park in 2019, featuring live music, an appearance from County Executive Sam Page and a fireworks show.

The JB Blast Fourth of July celebration at Jefferson Barracks Park has been rescheduled for later in July.

The annual event will now take place Friday, July 21 after being postponed from its original date, June 30 due to severe weather.

Gates open at Veterans Memorial Amphitheater, 533 Bagby Road, at 5 p.m. Live music from Mirage Entertainment starts at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks on what the event is calling “food truck row.” Picnic baskets and coolers are also permitted.

Admission and parking are free.

JB Blast is sponsored by St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page, 6th District Councilman Ernie Trakas, the St. Louis County Police Department, the Parks and Recreation Department and numerous business partners.
