I’m sorry that I upset Mr. Schubert in his Oct. 9 letter with my vacation story.
I’m sorry that his father spent such a long time as a prisoner of war in Japan. I’m sorry that I got all that gravy and wasted so much space in the paper. I’m hurt that he doesn’t care if I’m colorblind and mortified because he thinks I’m related to the editor of the Call.
As the editor so aptly put it, “Mr. Meyer is not related to the editor nor anyone else at the Call.”
Thank God.
