Theater students at Lutheran High School South left their signatures on the beams of the Jubel Center for the Arts, pictured above.
The $18 million performing arts center was funded through a large donation from the Darren C. Jubel Charitable Foundation and donor support.
The expansion is approximately 39,000 square feet and will have areas for several classes and programs, including a 600-plus seat theater, music and art rooms, as well as a new lobby and grand entrance to the school. The school broke ground on the new space in May.
