Crestwood Elementary School traveled back to some of the United States’ earliest days last week when fifth-graders wrapped up their lessons on the American Revolution. Pupils dressed in Colonial attire took on the identities of Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, Betsy Ross and many others as they traveled to the lower grade levels and presented information about their famous historical characters. To cap off the day, fifth-graders performed a musical in the gym about the American Revolution. Above, fifth-grader Zach Driemeyer plays the role of Samuel Adams.
