A Sept. 10 motor vehicle crash at the intersection of South Lindbergh Boulevard and Lemay Ferry Road resulted in the death of one unnamed adult male.

According to police, officers from the South County Precinct responded to a call for service for a single motor vehicle crash at the aforementioned intersection at approximately 11:05 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in the driver’s seat suffering from injuries sustained in the crash. The victim was transported to an area hospital for life-saving treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was traveling westbound on South Lindbergh Boulevard when he struck a utility pole near the intersection of Lemay Ferry Road.
