Crestwood and The John Sappington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are hosting a Veterans Day wreath-laying ceremony on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.
The event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Plaza, located near the entrance of Crestwood City Hall, 1 Detjen Drive.
All members of the community are invited.
“Veterans Day is a time to reflect on the immense contributions of (all) who have served in our nation’s armed forces, ensuring our freedom and security,” Crestwood Mayor Scott Shipley stated in a press release. “We especially encourage all veterans in Crestwood to participate, as this event is a chance for the community to personally express our gratitude for your service. Whether you served in times of war or peace, your dedication is a vital part of our nation’s history and your stories are deeply valued.”
