To the editor:
Many of the St. Louis County-maintained roads need to be repaved. Just fixing potholes is not enough.
Some of our roads look like they belong in a third-world country, or worse.
I know our sales tax is already high, but I feel that most of our citizens would vote for another half cent if it went for much better roads.
It would be cheaper than paying for vehicle repairs caused by terrible roads.
