Emily Stubbs, daughter of Neil and Jeanette Stubbs of Green Park, and Matthew Frierdich, son of David and Lynn Frierdich of Kirkwood, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Stubbs, of Green Park, holds a bachelor of music degree from DePauw University and a bachelor of nursing degree from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. She is employed by Vanderbilt University Medical Center of Nashville, Tenn., as a registered nurse.
Her fiancé, Frierdich, holds a bachelor of science degree in political science and history. He is pursuing a master of divinity degree at Vanderbilt Divinity School of Nashville, Tenn.
The couple plan a June wedding at Con-cord Baptist Church in south county.
