The Salvation Army is listed first, recognizing the oldest to the youngest of those on the list who serve the community. The Salvation Army is 145 years old, and the local flower shop, Kruse-Grimm-Brix Florist, turns 128 years old in 2025.
Gosh, that’s 109 years and 92 years older than The Call. A member of First Unity Church of St. Louis shared that they celebrated their church’s 100th birthday just a year ago! Kenrick’s Meats and Catering just passed its 80th birthday, growing from its founding in a garage to one of the biggest butcher and catering services in the area.
Fifty is a big number for a couple of restaurants in the local area, both Bill Gianino’s and Llywelyn’s Pub are celebrating this birthday!
Sinclair Ford and Franview Barber opened in 1966. Pete Robbinson owns Franview Barber and we wish him well as he is retiring after almost 60 years providing his famous haircuts. The Sinclair Family is carrying on with family dealerships of multiple makes of cars and multiple family members managing today!
