Charlean and Gene Carroll celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 4 at their St. Louis residence.
Mr. Carroll and the former Charlean Conway were married April 4, 1959, in St. Louis by the Rev. Alfred Mays.
Mr. Carroll is employed by University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he has worked for eight years.
Mrs. Carroll is retired from Growing Footprints Daycare.
They are the parents of three: William Carroll, Connie Sawyer and Linda Sambo, all of St. Louis. They have six grandchildren.
