Two grants from the Missouri Department of Conservation have allowed Wohlwend Elementary School in the Mehlville School District to transform portions of its campus into a native prairie habitat, pollinator garden and outdoor classroom. The prairie along with the pollinator garden provide learning opportunties for students, and creates a habitat for native wildlife and pollinators.
