To the editor:
I am confused by the Call’s endorsement of Rep. Marsha Haefner, R-Oakville, for re-election to the District 95 Missouri House seat.
I thought the Call supported schools and public education. Even though Mark Haefner claims that Rep. Haefner supported Proposition R, her recent political flier states, “Has never supported tax increases for hard-working Missourians.”
She is the worst example of a politician claiming she has supported our schools when campaigning and then votes against them.
I cannot understand why the Call does not openly question these statements.
