Sara Brendel, daughter of Jerry and Jean Brendel of St. Louis, and Charlie Schliesser, son of Charles and Terri Schliesser of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Brendel of St. Louis is a Lindbergh High School graduate and is employed by The Movement Arts Center of St. Louis as a choreographer and dance instructor.
Her fiancé, Schliesser, is a Lindbergh High School graduate and is employed by CS Design Co. of St. Louis as a graphic designer.
They plan a Dec. 18 wedding at Aventura Palace Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and plan a January reception in St. Louis.
