Peace Lutheran Church will celebrate its annual Boar’s Head Christmas Festival for the 25th time this weekend.
The festival will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5, 6, 7 and at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at the church, 737 Barracksview Road. Free tickets will be offered to the public on a first-come basis. Tickets can be obtained by calling the church office at 314-892-5610.
Before the procession of lords and ladies, dancers, musicians, swordsmen and servants, the boar’s head is presented to King Wenceslas, symbolizing the defeat of evil.
