Archer, Twillmann exchange vows in Des Moines, Iowa

Elisabeth Anne Archer and John David Twillmann were united in marriage on Nov. 19 at The Salisbury House in Des Moines, Iowa.

Pastor Mark Clark officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Archer of Ottumwa, Iowa. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Twillmann of St. Louis.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She carried a bouquet of ivory vendela roses and processed down the aisle to Pachelbel’s “Canon in D Major.”

She wore the heirloom wedding gown of her grandmother, Marilyn Wells. The ivory, ballet-length dress featured capped sleeves, tulle overlay and a satin cummerbund.

After a reception at The Salisbury House, the couple left for a honeymoon in Egypt.

The Twillmanns now reside in Des Moines, Iowa.

The bride is a graduate of Luther College and the University of Iowa College of Law. She is a law clerk for the chief judge of the Southern District of Iowa.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the University of Iowa College of Law. He is corporate counsel for Rueter Cos.
